James was appointed Norfolk Project Manager in August 2006, Strategic Development and New Zealand Ventures in May 2007, General Manager Norfolk Building Products Australasia in January 2008 and more recently General Manager, New Zealand. In this role he is responsible for the ongoing growth and development of Norfolk's six New Zealand businesses.
Prior to joining Norfolk, James held various roles with Fletcher Aluminium (part of Fletcher Building), his last role being International Markets Manager. Prior to this he was a commercial litigation barrister and solicitor at Bell Gully.
James holds a Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University Wellington, and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from Auckland University. James was admitted to the bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the HIgh Court of New Zealand in 1995.
Appointed the Finance Manager in April 2005, David is responsible for managing the Finance and Accounting functions across Climatech and Newpower. David’s career has seen him progress from Finance Manager at Chubb NZ to positions with Tyco, Climatech and Newpower.
Andy joined the company in November 2009. Andy is repsonsible for Climatech & Newpower Electrical branches from Whangarei to Hamilton. This is to ensure a consistent and co-ordinated approach to the delivery of projects & service.
Andy has a wealth of experience in the contracting business, working for a contracting business in the UK for 25 years. Since arriving in New Zealand he has worked for Johnson Controls as National Operations Manager, Andy was in this role for 3 years.
Andy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is also a New Zealand Green Building Council Accredited Professional.
Glen has over 20 years experience in the mechanical services business. For the past six years, Glen has managed the Wellington branch, managing operations and helping his staff to exceed customer expectations.
Glen has extensive experience in the mechanical engineering industry, having held positions with Climatech as Service then Project Manager, and similar positions with Wormalds prior to that.
Glen holds qualifications in Mechanical engineering (heavy industry) NZCE.
Since March 2005, Ian has held responsibilty for the Climatech branches and business units within the South Island, ensuring a co-ordinated and consistent delivery of projects and services.
He has brought a wealth of experience to the role attained, since joining the company in 2002. Ian's previous positions in Climatech have been Contracts Manager for South Island installation works and Design Manager. He also has over 20 years experience across estimating, CAD, design engineering and project management with Mechanical and Electrical services companies in the UK. He has also been involved in technical functions, apprentice training and development, project delivery and involvment with business operations as a company director.
Ian holds a National Certificate and Higher National Diploma in Building Services Engineering in UK. he has also completed a variety of CPD courses and registration as Independent Qualified Person (IQP) under the Building Act for South Island.
As the Manager of the National Engineering Centre, Barry manages a team of engineers and drafting personnel responsible for HVAC and Refrigeration:
Barry also manages the warehouse and distribution services for the product supply business.
Prior to this, Barry held positions with Climatech as the National Business Development Manager and was a partner with Opus International Consulting.
Barry holds a New Zealand Certificate of Engineering (Mech) and is a New Zealand Green Building Council Accredited Professional.
